“The Unexpected” is my pre-fall collection. This collection started from questioning everyday life in New York City. Every day is different and is unpredictable. This concept of the unexpected is visualized by distortion.
The unexpected life in new york is embodied as a woman who is masculine but also has a sensitive side. The asymmetrical design reflects both the feminine and masculine aspects of a woman through a distorted seamline. The New York buildings’ checkerboard pattern showcases the contrast of the unexpected elements.
